This dataset is the spatial distribution data of land use types in Changbai County, Jilin Province in 2008. It is vector data containing attribute fields such as land code and land type. The land types are classified into secondary categories including paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other woodland, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, river and canal, lake, reservoir and pond, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flat, beach land, urban land, rural residential area, other construction land, sandy land, Gobi, saline-alkali land, marsh, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Specifically, cultivated land (i.e., paddy fields and dry lands) is categorized by landform into mountainous, hilly and plain cultivated lands, as well as paddy fields and dry lands on slopes with a gradient greater than 25°. The data scale is 1:100,000.
