资源简介:
Toona sinensis (A. Juss.) Roem. is a fast-growing deciduous tree native to east and southeast Asia. The tender leaves have edible value, and the leaves, roots, bark, and fruits are also used in traditional Chinese medicine, making it of significant economic value. The chloroplast genome of Toona sinensis (A. Juss.) Roem. cv. Bashanhong was sequenced, assembled, and annotated. The complete circular chloroplast genome is a quadripartite structure with a length of 159,200 bp, which contains a large single-copy region of 86,822 bp, a small single-copy region of 18,332 bp, and two 27,023 bp inverted repeats. The complete chloroplast genome encodes 132 genes, including 87 protein-coding genes, 8 rRNA genes, and 37 tRNA genes. The chloroplast genomes of 33 species closely related to the Meliaceae family were used for phylogenetic analysis, and within the same family, Toona sinensis and Toona ciliate exhibited the closest phylogenetic relationship to Bashanhong.
