United States Trace Gas Network (TRAGNET) Database

The United States Trace Gas Network(TRAGNET) consists of native and managed ecosystem research sites which serve as a network for coordinated measurement of trace gas fluxes. TRAGNET is meant to accomplish the following two goals:

(1) Document contemporary fluxes of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O) between regionally important ecosystems and the atmosphere; and

(2) Determine the factors controlling these fluxes and improve our ability to predict future fluxes in response to ecosystem and climate change.

美国痕量气体网络（United States Trace Gas Network, TRAGNET）由原生及人工管理的生态系统研究站点组成，作为开展痕量气体通量协同观测的网络。该网络旨在达成以下两大目标：
(1) 记录区域重要生态系统与大气间二氧化碳（carbon dioxide, CO₂）、甲烷（methane, CH₄）及一氧化二氮（nitrous oxide, N₂O）的当代通量；
(2) 明确调控此类通量的影响因子，并提升我们预测生态系统与气候变化背景下未来通量的能力。
