MOBHunter, a pipeline combining 10 high-performing tools and custom algorithms to detect unique genomic regions, diagnostic markers and genetic boundaries of MGE. MOBHunter integrates these predictions, offers evidence-based classifications, and produces GenBank-compatible outputs for visualization, creating a comprehensive platform for MGE analysis of complete genomes of bacteria and archaeas.The process starts with the pipeline setting the environment in which it will work. The script checks for the availability of .gbk files in the defined path. Then, it will proceed to convert the .gbk files into formats required by the other programs. Converted formats include .faa, .ffn, .fna and .ptt.After the required files are created, the pipeline will run all the incorporated 10 programs. The outputs are then processed in a consensus, and the consensus will conduct the scoring of each hit. If a hit is classified by all the incorporated programs, it will receive a higher score.
MOBHunter是一款集成10款高性能分析工具与自定义算法的分析流程,可用于检测可移动遗传元件(Mobile Genetic Elements,MGE)的特有基因组区域、诊断标记与遗传边界。该流程可整合各类预测结果,提供基于证据的分类注释,并生成兼容GenBank格式的可视化输出文件,从而构建出可用于细菌与古菌完整基因组MGE分析的综合平台。
分析流程首先会配置运行环境,脚本将检查指定路径下是否存在.gbk格式文件,随后将.gbk格式文件转换为其余分析工具所需的文件格式,转换后的文件格式涵盖.faa、.ffn、.fna与.ptt。
