Data and code for "Forecasting reductions in municipal investment plans using revision history"

This dataset accompanies the article “Forecasting reductions in municipal investment plans using revision history”. It contains investment plans and expenditure data for 2,411 Polish municipalities over 2019–2025, comprising 16,877 municipality-year observations. The package includes a data dictionary, source documentation, model inputs, Python code, archived analytical results and manuscript tables. The code reproduces the principal forecasting point estimates and selected diagnostic analyses. Results from additional bootstrap and fiscal-model analyses are supplied as archived outputs. The README explains the reproduction scope, variable definitions and data limitations. Monetary values are expressed in nominal Polish zloty (PLN).
