Purchasing expenditure is the expenditure incurred by the national government on goods and services from suppliers.Once a year, the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations receives information on the procurement expenditures of the previous year of all ministries and subdivisions.
The Ministry uses this information to provide Rijkswide purchasing information to the category managers of the State, who purchase and procure the generic purchasing categories.
Since 2012, this purchasing information has also been used to inform the House of Representatives about the purchase by the government and about the share of small and medium-sized enterprises in it. This is done in the Annual Report on Business Management.

采购支出（Purchasing expenditure）指中央政府向供应商采购货物及服务所产生的开支。每年，内政与王国关系大臣（Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations）都会获取所有部委及其下属机构上一年度的采购支出信息。
该部门基于上述信息，向负责通用采购品类的国家品类主管提供全荷兰范围内的采购相关信息。
自2012年起，该采购信息还被用于向众议院（House of Representatives）汇报政府采购情况以及中小企业在其中所占的份额，此项工作将通过《业务管理年度报告》（Annual Report on Business Management）完成。
