Banking in Peru: social media follower ratio 2016-2019

The social media follower ratio of banks' profiles on Facebook and Twitter in Peru has been increasing recently. In July 2019, the Facebook-Twitter follower ratio amounted to eight, up from a ratio of seven recorded in July 2016. That means that banks' social media profiles in Peru had approximately eight times more Facebook followers than Twitter followers in 2019. Furthermore, that is the same ratio observed in Costa Rica and Mexico lately.
