1) Data Content: Comparative analysis results of amphipod species diversity in the Pan-Third Pole region centered on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, conducted in 2021; 2) Data Sources and Processing Methods: Phylogenetic trees were constructed using BEAST software based on 567 genetic datasets from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent regions; Predictive distribution maps for the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), Mid-Holocene, present day, and future periods were generated using ArcView and Maxent software based on 3180 distribution records from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, including latitude, longitude, and elevation information; 3) Data Quality Assurance: The sample collection and the latitude, longitude, and elevation information have been verified to ensure the quality of the distribution data; all analysts have received rigorous laboratory training; 4) Research Achievements and Application Prospects: This study found that the Pan-Third Pole region centered on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau boasts rich amphipod species diversity, but most species have not yet been formally described and published, awaiting further research. This work provides a scientific basis for biodiversity assessment and ecological conservation in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
