Microbial diversity associated with the rhizosphere and roots of two plants in a constructed wetland treatment system for oil sand process-affected water remediation

Microbial processes are key element in remediation strategies for oil sand process-affected waters. The goal of this study is to characterize microbial community dynamics of the roots and rhizosphere of two macrophyte species in a constructed wetland over one operating season.
