Neutralizing antibody against SARS-CoV-2 spike in COVID-19 patients, health care workers, and convalescent plasma donors

This study designs and describes usefulness of a SARS-CoV-2 S bearing lentivirus inGluc neutralization assay. The study highlights a wide phenotypic variation in human antibody responses against SARS-CoV-2 and demonstrates the efficacy of the newly designed lentivirus pseudotype assay for high-throughput serological surveys of neutralizing antibody titers in large cohorts.

本研究设计并阐明了携带SARS-CoV-2刺突蛋白（SARS-CoV-2 S）的慢病毒（lentivirus）在高斯荧光素酶（Gluc）中和试验中的应用价值。本研究揭示了人体针对SARS-CoV-2的抗体应答存在广泛的表型变异，并验证了新设计的慢病毒假型试验（pseudotype assay）可有效用于大型队列人群中和抗体滴度的高通量血清学筛查。
