The BRUSH dataset (BRown University Stylus Handwriting) contains 27,649 online handwriting samples from 170 writers. Each sequence is labeled with its intended character, enabling dataset users to identify which character each point in the sequence corresponds to. This dataset was introduced in the paper "Generating Handwriting via Decoupled Style Descriptors" published at the 2020 European Conference on Computer Vision (ECCV) by Atsunobu Kotani, Stefanie Tellex, and James Tompkin from Brown University.
