The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created preliminary Flood Proxy Maps (FPM) and Damage Proxy Map (DPM) covering the Philippines archipelago due to strong winds and heavy rains brought about by Super Typhoon Odette (Rai) which made landfall on 16 December 2021. These maps were derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellites operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) and ALOS-2 satellites operated by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
新加坡地球观测站遥感实验室(Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab, EOS-RS)针对2021年12月16日登陆的超强台风“奥黛特”(雷伊,Rai)引发的强风与强降雨,制作了覆盖菲律宾群岛的初步洪水代理地图(Flood Proxy Maps, FPM)与破坏代理地图(Damage Proxy Map, DPM)。此类地图基于欧洲空间局(European Space Agency, ESA)运营的哥白尼哨兵-1(Copernicus Sentinel-1)卫星以及日本宇宙航空研究开发机构(Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency, JAXA)运营的ALOS-2卫星获取的合成孔径雷达(synthetic aperture radar, SAR)影像生成。
