Number of OTT unique visitors India 2020-2022

As of April 2022, over-the-top (OTT) platforms in India had as many as 457 million unique visitors. It reflected a consistently growing trend in the number of unique OTT visitors that emerged in April 2020. This can be attributed to the increase in streaming activity carried out since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic. Moreover, the mushrooming of more affordable, domestic alternatives in the OTT market catered to a broad spectrum of users.
