Summative content (descriptive) analysis of 1502 Australian newspaper articles featuring link between alcohol and cancer, published between 1-1-2005 and 31-12-2013; articles downloaded from Dow Jones Factiva database. Articles coded in excel spreadsheet for date, type of newspaper, location of article with claim of link between alcohol and cancer in paper, and claim within the article; nature of claim; plus, article focus, headline, word-count, descriptors of alcohol, descriptors of cancer, and information sources cited. <br>
