2011- Ongoing Met Office Autonomous Marine Observing System (AMOS) Meteorological Observations

Meteorological observations originating from Met Office built ship-borne autonomous marine observing systems, produced hourly from any given position on the ship's track/route for weather forecasting as part of the long term climatological record. Coverage is global but predominantly in UK waters. Measurements include mean sea level pressure, air temperature and humidity (with capabilities for sea surface temperature (SST) and wind speed, wind direction and max gust speed from a limited number of systems). On occasion there may be gaps in the dataset.本数据集为气象观测数据，源自英国气象局（Met Office）研制的船载自主海洋观测系统，沿船舶航行轨迹的任意点位按小时生成观测结果，用于天气预报工作，同时作为长期气候记录的组成部分。其观测覆盖范围遍及全球，但主要集中于英国海域。观测要素涵盖平均海平面气压、气温与湿度；仅部分观测系统可采集海表面温度（SST）、风速、风向以及最大阵风风速。该数据集偶尔会出现数据空缺。
