Marine bacteria isolated from Sargassum ilicifolium macroalgae. Marine bacteria

The aim of this study was to isolate marine bacteria that have symbiotic relationships with marine algae. Lamina samples of Sargassum ilicifolium were collected in Singapore and stamped onto selective media to isolate symbiotic bacteria. DNA was extracted from the isolates and genomes sequenced.
