Microbial analysis on chickens and surroundings throughout the entire chicken supply chain

Bacterial communities in chickens as well as their associated environmental samples collected from a broiler farm, slaughterhouse, meat processing plant, and market (n = 72) were trace-investigated using 16S rRNA metagenome sequencing to obtain the microbial information from overall chicken supply chain, including major pathogens and their possible associated environments that might cause contamination.
