资源简介:

This record provides a preliminary population-level screening test of a prospectively frozen Enchan Field screening closure using Gaia EDR3 wide-binary data. The analysis uses a primary sample of 23,753 wide-binary pairs, including 4,939 pairs in the 5,000–15,000 AU transition region. The frozen Enchan parameters were not fitted or tuned to the Gaia observations. The resulting Enchan E1 population prediction exhibits an upturn beginning at approximately 5,000 AU and shows qualitative and partial quantitative agreement with the normalized velocity statistic derived from the Gaia EDR3 sample. The archive contains the reproducibility code, derived population summary data, traceability documentation, and the preliminary comparison figure. The original Gaia wide-binary catalogue is not redistributed; it is retrieved from its existing Zenodo source and can be downloaded through the included data-retrieval script. The Newtonian curve shown in the figure is an idealized flat reference, not a complete Newtonian mock population including unresolved multiples, eccentricity, projection, and observational selection effects. The MOND curve is likewise a simplified 1D external-field-effect proxy, not a full QUMOND boundary-value calculation. Accordingly, this result should be interpreted as an out-of-sample preliminary screening result, not as a standalone falsification of Newtonian gravity or a decisive comparison with MOND. A full physical test requires solving the nonlinear Enchan Field for a binary system embedded in the Galactic environment and performing a more complete population-level statistical comparison. *Update (Aug 18, 2026 / v1.0):* Corrected theoretical curve description to 'observed projected-direction evaluation' in documentation, resolved fallback shutil bug in plotting, exposed final plot at root for standalone preview, and excluded raw data cache from the reproducibility archive.
