For short and long nLTR-RTs, due to the low number of fixed insertions in 1Mb windows, we present results for 10MB windows instead. The last column provides an interpretation of the correlations obtained in simulations and observed in empirical data. For simulated TEs, we distinguish between outcomes where TEs are at high frequency (higher than SNPs) and low frequency (lower than SNPs). Pur. Selec. Ect.
