Regional 1994-2021 Wind Speed and Direction for the Jack and Laura Dangermond Preserve

This Excel file contains wind speed and direction from the offshore West Santa Barbara Buoy (46054) retrieved from NOAA's Data Buoy Center (https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_history.php?station=46054). All available data at the time of collection are within the file (1994-2021, partial 2022). Data shown are sorted by date and hour with original wind speeds as well as anemometer corrected wind speeds to that of the standardized reporting value of 10m. If minute data was available, these values were averaged to represent a mean hourly value. Zonal and meridional winds were calculated and reported for each measurement.
