IMOS - ABOS Southern Ocean Time Series (SOTS) Sub-Facility, Pulse 7 Mooring (Sept 2010 - Apr 2011)

The Pulse 7 mooring was deployed from 9 September 2010 to 29 April 2011 at Lat -46.93, Lon 142.26. Data are now available in netCDF format.\n\nMoored instruments are deployed by the IMOS Australian Bluewater Observing System (ABOS) Southern Ocean Time Series sub-facility for time-series observations of physical, biological, and chemical properties, in the Sub-Antarctic Zone southwest of Tasmania, with twice-yearly servicing. \n\nThese time-series observations are crucial to resolving ecosystem processes that affect carbon cycling, ocean productivity and marine responses to climate variability and change, ocean acidification and other stresses.

Pulse 7号锚系观测系统于2010年9月9日至2011年4月29日布放于纬度-46.93、经度142.26处，当前数据以netCDF格式提供。
该锚系观测设备由澳大利亚整合海洋观测系统（Integrated Marine Observing System，IMOS）旗下的蓝水观测系统（Australian Bluewater Observing System，ABOS）南大洋时间序列子设施部署，用于在塔斯马尼亚岛西南侧的亚南极带开展物理、生物及化学属性的时间序列观测，该设施每年开展两次维护作业。
此类时间序列观测对于解析影响碳循环、海洋生产力、海洋对气候变率与气候变化的响应，以及海洋酸化和其他环境压力的生态系统过程至关重要。
