Application of biological control in greenhouse horticulture

The table contains figures on the use of biological control methods in greenhouse horticulture. In addition to the number of farms applying organic fighters and the associated areas, this table also provides information on the quantities of organic fighters, as a total and per group of fighters and per hectare. Per crop can be selected where the fighters are applied. Microbiological pesticides (bacterial preparations) are not included in this table because they are included in the chemical pesticides (plant protection products). Data available from: 2012 Status of the figures: The figures for 2012, 2016 and 2020 are final. Amendments as of 10 January 2023: The data type has been modified for the topic of deployed biological fighters, as this led to unwanted roundings. No further changes have been made to the structure of the table. Amendments as of 28 December 2022: Preliminary figures 2020 have been replaced by final figures. Amendments as of 19 July 2022: None, this is a new table. This table is a successor to the discontinued table Application of biological control in greenhouse horticulture 2012-2016, see paragraph 3. When will there be new figures?
