Podarcis muralis Transcriptome or Gene expression

We compared gene expression profiles of embryos of the common wall lizard (Podarcis muralis) in an evolutionary framework. We identified responses to two different incubation temperatures and investigated how this response has evolved in different populations of the common wall lizard. We compared non-native populations that have been introduced to cool climate and assessed their evolutionary response to the new selection pressure.
