MULTIDIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS OF LABOR PROVERBS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK: SEMANTIC, PRAGMATIC AND CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES

Proverbs represent the collective wisdom and cultural experience of a nation and serve as valuable sources for understanding linguistic worldviews. Among the concepts frequently reflected in paremiological units, labor occupies a prominent position due to its social, economic, and moral significance. This study provides a multidimensional analysis of labor-related proverbs in English and Uzbek from semantic, pragmatic, and cultural perspectives. The research employs comparative and descriptive methods to identify the similarities and differences in the representation of labor in both linguistic traditions.
