Genomic Landscape of ExPEC in Colombia: Characterization of Antimicrobial Resistance and Virulence in Lineages ST131 and ST1193

We employed nanopore Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) to analyse 65 E. coli isolates collected from a Colombian healthcare facility over six months, originating from blood, fluid, and urinary tract infections. This study aimed to elucidate their genetic diversity, clonality, AMR profiles, and VF, focusing on ST131 and ST1193 strains.
