This dataset is the 2019 glacier distribution product for the Qilian Mountains region. It was extracted using the classic band ratio method combined with manual correction. The raw foundational data are Gaofen series remote sensing images covering the entire Qilian Mountains in 2019, while the reference datasets include Google Earth satellite imagery and Tianditu imagery. The product is stored in Shapefile (.shp) format, with attributes such as coordinate system, glacier unique ID, glacier area and other relevant parameters. This is a single-temporal dataset with a spatial resolution of 2 meters and a boundary accuracy of approximately 2 meters (equivalent to one pixel). This dataset directly reflects the 2019 distribution of glaciers in the Qilian Mountains, and can be used for studies such as quantitative estimation of glacier mass balance changes and quantitative assessment of the impact of glacier variations on basin runoff.
