The survey aimed at describing some condition relating to reading and reading interest among the pupils and teachers who participated in the reading competition Read 90, and to measure the effect of classes in the 3.-5th grade in elementary school's participation in such a nationwide reading competition. The variables in the survey are, amongst other things, measurement of reading amounts, reading preferences and attitudes toward reading. Questionnaires were sent to teachers and pupils all over the country at three points of time. Furthermore, registers of the books that the pupils have read or the teacher has read for them are available in 6 lists. Respectively 2412, 2817 and 2924 pupils participated in the survey, and respectively 160, 141 and 173 teachers participated.

本调查旨在阐明参与"Read 90"全国阅读竞赛的小学生与教师的阅读现状及阅读兴趣,并评估小学3至5年级班级参与该全国性阅读竞赛的实施效果。本次调查的变量涵盖阅读量、阅读偏好及阅读态度等多项指标。研究团队于三个时间节点向全国范围内的师生发放问卷。此外,现有6份书籍登记清单,记录了学生自主阅读或教师为其领读的书籍信息。三轮调查分别有2412、2817和2924名学生参与,对应参与教师人数依次为160、141和173名。
