Does the Rural Digital Economy Promote Shared Prosperity Among Farmers? Evidence from China

This dataset supports the research article titled <i>"Does the Rural Digital Economy Promote Shared Prosperity Among Farmers? Evidence from China"</i>, submitted to <i>Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems</i>.It includes balanced panel data at the provincial level from 2013 to 2022, covering indicators of the rural digital economy, shared prosperity, high-quality agricultural development, and relevant control variables. The data were sourced from official publications such as the China Statistical Yearbook and the National Bureau of Statistics.The dataset was used to conduct fixed effects regression and mediation analysis, as well as multiple robustness tests. It is provided in Excel format with clearly labeled variables and descriptions.This dataset enables replication of the study’s core findings and supports further research on digital inclusion, rural development, and sustainable food systems.
