Adaptation of the snow mold pathogen, Microdochium nivale, to the fungicide fludioxonil (F00246)

The study investigates the adaptation of the snow mold pathogen, Microdochium nivale, to the fungicide fludioxonil. The genome of the natural fludioxonil-sensitive strain F_00246 was sequenced using PacBio HiFi platform. The genome of the in vitro-adapted derivative of strain F_00246 (F00246-FR) was sequenced on the Illumina NovaSeq X Plus platform. The objectives of this study were to assemble the genome of the fludioxonil-sensitive strain and to identify mutations that arose during fludioxonil adaptation.
