To investigate the genes regulated by Rpd3 in these biological functions, we performed RNA-seq analysis on the WT and Rpd3 mutant strains of A. flavus. The quality control results demonstrate excellent parallelism between samples. Our findings indicate that the deletion of Rpd3 results in the upregulation of 583 genes and the downregulation of 392 genes compared to the WT, underscoring its significant influence on transcriptional regulation . Gene Set Enrichment Analysis (GSEA) revealed that the deletion of Rpd3 leads to the downregulation of processes related to redox reactions .
