This dataset comprises statistical tables on the levels of urban water supply, water utilization and drainage facilities (covering both overall societal and individual city-level statistics) in China's western regions, based on urban water use data from 1998 to 2000. The recorded and statistical contents include administrative code, collection year, description, serial number, per capita daily domestic water consumption, water penetration rate of urban population, water penetration rate of non-agricultural population, density of drainage pipelines, sewage treatment rate, length of drainage pipelines, annual sewage discharge volume, number of sewage treatment plants (including those with biochemical treatment), sewage treatment capacity of sewage treatment plants (including their biochemical treatment capacity), sewage treatment capacity of wastewater treatment facilities, and annual sewage treatment volume. This dataset provides data support for the statistical work on urban water supply, water utilization and drainage facility levels (both overall societal and individual city-level) in China's western regions.
