Sidescan sonar image data from the southern Mariana arc collected during Meville cruise COOK07MV (2001, investigator Sherman Bloomer)

The sidescan sonar data set was collected using the MR1 towed sled during 2001 Melville cruise COOK07MV. The image files are in JPEG format. The data set was acquired as part of a project called Mantle Inputs to the Subduction Factory: Assessing Scales of Spatial Variability along and across the IBM Convergent Margin, and funding was provided by NSF grants OCE00-01876, OCE00-01827 and OCE00-02715.

本侧扫声呐（sidescan sonar）数据集采集自2001年“梅尔维尔”号科考航次COOK07MV，数据采集使用MR1型拖曳式拖体完成。图像文件采用JPEG格式。本数据集为“俯冲带工厂的地幔输入：评估IBM汇聚边缘沿线及跨域的空间变异性尺度”项目的组成部分，该项目由美国国家科学基金会（National Science Foundation，NSF）的OCE00-01876、OCE00-01827及OCE00-02715号资助项目提供经费支持。
