The study was aimed at understanding the expression of known neutrophil regulating factors in the retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) cells with increasing age in a mouse model (Cryba1 cKO, mice lacking gene which codes for beta A3/A1-crystallin protein only in the RPE cells) of age-related macular degeneration
本研究旨在探究年龄相关性黄斑变性小鼠模型中，随年龄增长的视网膜色素上皮（retinal pigment epithelium, RPE）细胞内已知中性粒细胞调控因子的表达水平。该模型为Cryba1条件性敲除（Cryba1 cKO）小鼠，仅在其视网膜色素上皮细胞中敲除了编码βA3/A1-晶状体蛋白的基因。
