EOS-RS Flood Proxy Map: Bicol Region, Philippines, Tropical Storm Trami Floods, 29 Oct 2024

The Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab (EOS-RS) created this preliminary Flood Proxy Map (FPM) depicting areas that are likely flooded in the Bicol Region, Philippines, due to heavy rainfall from Tropical Storm Trami. This map was derived from synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images acquired by the Copernicus Sentinel-1 satellite operated by the European Space Agency (ESA) before (8 Feb 2024 to 5 Oct 2024) and after (29 Oct 2024) the event.

新加坡地球观测站-遥感实验室（Earth Observatory of Singapore - Remote Sensing Lab, EOS-RS）制作了本初步洪水代理地图（Flood Proxy Map, FPM），该地图旨在描绘菲律宾比科尔地区受热带风暴“潭美”（Tropical Storm Trami）强降雨影响下的潜在洪涝区域。本地图基于欧洲空间局（European Space Agency, ESA）运营的哥白尼哨兵-1号卫星采集的合成孔径雷达（Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR）影像生成，影像采集时段分别覆盖事件发生前（2024年2月8日至2024年10月5日）与事件发生后（2024年10月29日）。
