2014 07 01-02 Time-Lapse Sequence Images 1001-2000

1-2 July 2014 - Partial sequence of Reconyx HC600 HyperFire trail camera images using both the motion sensor and time-lapse to trigger the camera. The total sequence includes 14,546 images covering the period 11:15 AM Eastern Standard Time on 1 July 2014 through 12:27 PM Eastern Standard Time on 2 July 2014. The intention was for a long-term observation (about 10 days) however the motion sensor triggered on moving branches and in consequence the memory card was full in a little more than one day. The time lapse sequence turns off after sunset to conserve battery and memory space and resumes before sunrise. The first 2000 images happen to also document finding and casting a large (approximately 14" long by 5" wide) footprint nearly on center in the scene. During the time-lapse sequence known animals such as deer are visible moving through the scene. No other human activity is observed. An unknown animal appears in image 6891. GPS coordinates of the camera are latitude N 40 deg 09.038 min longitude W 074 deg 08.894 min. The camera is attached 20 feet above the ground in a medium sized tree at the western edge of the cleared area underneath the power transmission lines and with a view across that cleared area at an approximate orientation of 42 deg magnetic.Project order 23a
