Spatial development concept for the Outer Port in Gdańsk - work number 4/23/24

The research series presents in a form of a design chart possible variants of the spatial layout of the water and land areas of the Outer Port of Gdańsk using different combinations of terminals with different annual turnover volumes. Individual works in the series present different solutions for anchorages, channels, port entrances, turntables and basins, both in terms of their size and mutual location. Work number 4/23/24 is the subject of this study.
The work number 4/23/24 provide for the westward extension of the North Port of Gdansk. The premise of the new part of the port is based on the construction of a new land area surrounding the main port water from the west. The main water body will be accessible from two eastern entrances, which will be connected to the existing approach channel to the North Port. The outer harbour will be protected from waves by the newly reclaimed land from the west and by two new breakwaters: from the east and from the north-east. The reclaimed land is divided into three land areas, with the two water basins between them.

本研究系列以设计图表形式，展示了格但斯克外港水陆区域的多种空间布局方案，方案采用不同年吞吐量规模的码头组合形式。该系列中的每份研究成果，均从尺寸与相对布局维度，提出了锚地、航道、港口入口、回转台及港池的差异化设计方案。本研究的对象为第4/23/24号研究成果。
第4/23/24号研究成果针对格但斯克北港的西向扩建展开。该港区扩建部分的设计前提为：新建一处陆域区域，从西侧环绕港内核心水域。核心水域将通过两处东部入口实现通航，这两处入口均与北港现有进港航道相连。外港将依托西侧新围垦陆域，以及东、东北两侧两座新建防波堤实现防浪防护。该围垦陆域被划分为三块子陆域，两块港池分布于三块陆域之间。
