Classification of municipalities in disadvantaged areas in Hérault

Less-favoured areas are areas with natural constraints. In these areas, farmers are eligible for EU compensatory aid linked to this natural handicap.
There are currently three types of less-favoured areas:
— mountain areas;
— simple less-favoured areas;
— areas with specific handicaps.
The mountain areas are not altered. France will introduce the payment of the Natural Disability Compensation Allowance (ICHN) on the basis of the new zoning as of 2018. Work on the establishment of the new zoning is under way.

弱势区域（Less-favoured Areas）是指存在自然限制条件的区域，此类区域内的农户可申领与该自然缺陷相关的欧盟补偿性援助。
目前共有三类弱势区域：
——山地区域；
——普通弱势区域；
——特定缺陷区域。
山地区域暂未作出调整。法国将于2018年起依据新的分区标准发放自然缺陷补偿津贴（Natural Disability Compensation Allowance，缩写ICHN）。目前新分区标准的制定工作正在推进中。
