Microbial communities in high-altitude cascade lakes of the Western Caucasus (Markinsky lakes) Raw sequence reads

We study of microbial diversity in the Markinsky Lakes, a unique cascade system in the Western Caucasus, using high-throughput sequencing approaches. We characterized both planktonic and benthic microbial communities through 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing.
