Southern Cross University Artists Book Collection

The Artists’ Books Collection consists of nearly 120 artists’ books and 10 artists’ books reference items.  The collection is housed in the Manning Clark Room in the SCU Library in proper preservation and storage conditions.

The Collection includes books by notable artists. International artists include Dieter Roth, Tara O’Brien, Sarah Bodman and Christian Boltanski. Australian artists represented include Robert Jacks, Doug Spowart, Ron Burnie and Judy Watson.

Southern Cross University has until recently held an annual or biennial Acquisitive Artists’ Book Award and artists’ books were chosen from the exhibition for inclusion in the library collection. These include works by Monica Oppen (Botanikos), Victoria Cooper (Googling up 10+) and Tacee-Lea Jones (Just turn the key).

艺术家书籍馆藏（Artists’ Books Collection）包含近120册艺术家书籍与10册艺术家书籍参考资料。该馆藏存放于南十字星大学（Southern Cross University，SCU）图书馆的曼宁·克拉克阅览室（Manning Clark Room），并配备合规的保存与存储环境。

本馆藏收录多位知名艺术家的作品。国际艺术家创作者包括迪特尔·罗斯（Dieter Roth）、塔拉·奥布赖恩（Tara O’Brien）、萨拉·博德曼（Sarah Bodman）与克里斯蒂安·博尔特安斯基（Christian Boltanski）；澳大利亚籍艺术家则涵盖罗伯特·杰克斯（Robert Jacks）、道格·斯鲍瓦特（Doug Spowart）、罗恩·伯尼（Ron Burnie）与朱迪·沃森（Judy Watson）。

直至近期，南十字星大学仍定期举办年度或双年度可收藏艺术家书籍奖（Acquisitive Artists’ Book Award）评选，从展览作品中遴选艺术家书籍纳入图书馆馆藏。本次馆藏收录的作品包括莫妮卡·奥彭（Monica Oppen）的《Botanikos》、维多利亚·库珀（Victoria Cooper）的《Googling up 10+》以及塔西-利·琼斯（Tacee-Lea Jones）的《Just turn the key》。
