Knowledge, attitude, and practice regarding dengue fever among secondary-level school students of Western Nepal: A cross-sectional study

We conducted a cross-sectional study in the public schools of Swargadwari municipality of western Nepal from January to May 2022. We collected information on socio-demographic characteristics, and KAP regarding dengue fever using standard questionnaires. The KAP assessment was done based on scoring and good and poor KAP was determined based on 80% cutoff point. The data was collected only after the written consent from the research participants and their parents.

本研究于2022年1月至5月，在尼泊尔西部斯瓦格德瓦里（Swargadwari）市的公立学校开展一项横断面研究。本研究采用标准化问卷收集研究对象的社会人口学特征数据，以及与登革热相关的知识、态度、实践（Knowledge-Attitude-Practice, KAP）相关信息。本次KAP评估采用评分法开展，并以80%为截断值划分优良与不良KAP等级。本研究仅在获得研究对象及其父母的书面知情同意后，方才开展数据采集工作。
