Global server share by virtualization in first half of 2018 and 2019

In 2019, 55.6 percent of servers worldwide were physical only, a reduction from the 57.2 percent of servers recorded in the year to June 2018. VMware servers accounted for 20.8 percent of the global market in 2019, an increase from the 20.1 percent observed in 2018.
