资源简介:
Mediator is a coregulatory complex involved in regulating the transcription of Pol II-dependent genes. Previously, we showed that human Mediator subunit MED26 plays a role in the recruitment of Super Elongation Complex (SEC) or Little Elongation Complex (LEC) to regulate the expression of distinct genes. Recent studies demonstrated that Mediator forms liquid droplets in nucleus and the mediator droplets regulate gene transcription. Recently, we found that the MED26 droplets-dependent transcription regulation plays an important role in control of cell proliferation and differentiation. Our goal is to elucidate the mechanism of transcription regulation by MED26 liquid droplets.
