The Department of Health’s mission is to achieve the best health and wellbeingfor all Victorians.The Department of Health undertakes planning, policydevelopment and funding of health care activities to promote and protect thehealth and wellbeing of all Victorians. Hospital services, mental healthservices, aged care and public health activities are delivered in partnershipwith public and private health service providers, local government and nongovernment service providers.The Department's services are delivered througheight outputs encompassing Acute Health Services, Ambulance Services, MentalHealth, Ageing, Aged and Home Care, Primary, Community and Dental Health,Small Rural Health, Public Health and Drug Services.
