This research data came from a study of a peer questioning-answeing pedagogy on students' digital reading. A quasi-experimental design was adopted to investigate the effects of a gamified questioning-answering strategy on the digital reading motivation, engagement, and comprehension. Students were encouraged to propose or answer post-reading questions among peers through a gamified reading platform. A total of 151 junior students from a university in central China participated in this study. The results indicated that the experimental group, comprising both the question-making team and the answering team, experienced a significant increase in reading engagement and comprehension. The question-making team showed greater improvement in reading motivation than the answering team.
本研究数据源自一项针对学生数字化阅读的同伴问答式教学法相关研究。本研究采用准实验设计,探究游戏化问答策略对学生数字化阅读动机、投入度与理解能力的影响。研究依托一款游戏化阅读平台,鼓励学生在同伴间提出读后问题或作答。本研究共招募151名来自中国中部某高校的低年级本科生参与。研究结果显示,由出题组与答题组共同组成的实验组,其阅读投入度与理解能力均得到显著提升;相较答题组,出题组在阅读动机方面的改善幅度更为显著。
