The following study took place on October 21<sup>st</sup>, 2020. The data was collected in the Humber ravine, near the Humber river in Ontario Canada. The goal of the study was to go out to the ravine and refine skills learned in the pilot experiment in order to get a better understand of how to correctly go out and execute a proper field study. When in the correct area the goal was to identify as many of the local species of birds found in that location as well as take notes on their behaviour and the habitat they were found in, this time noticing any patterns in their movement correlated to temperate change. From this, a dataset was made along with meta-data (describing the column heading of the dataset) and published to fig share in order to contribute to open science learning.<br>

本研究于2020年10月21日开展。数据采集于加拿大安大略省亨伯河附近的亨伯谷(Humber ravine)。本研究的核心目标为前往该谷地,锤炼并优化预实验中习得的实操技能,以更深入地理解规范开展野外实地研究的方法。在目标区域内,研究人员需尽可能识别当地分布的鸟类物种,同时记录其行为特征与栖息生境;本次研究重点关注鸟类活动模式与温度变化的相关性。基于上述工作,本研究构建了配套元数据(meta-data,用于说明数据集列标题信息)的数据集,并将其发布至Figshare平台,以期为开放科学学习贡献资源。
