Structuring the skies: Diel dynamics of migratory animal movement in the lower atmosphere - Data 1

Seasonal measures from 143 NEXRAD sites of fights height envelopes and timing of peak migration within 24-hour phases as measured as hour after sunset. Flight height envelopes (containing 50% and 75% of activity) include the envelope starting height (<i>mean_start_height_m</i>), width (<i>mean_envelope_width_m</i>), and ending height (<i>mean_end_height_m</i>), and timing of peak migration is measured in hours after sunset including the mean (<i>mean_peak_hr_after_sunset</i>), median timing (<i>median_peak_hr_after_sunset</i>), and standard deviation (<i>sd_peak_hr_after_sunset</i>).

本数据集收录了来自143个NEXRAD（Next Generation Weather Radar，下一代天气雷达）站点的季节性观测数据，包含以日落之后的小时数为衡量标准的24小时时段内的迁飞飞行高度包络线与迁徙峰值时刻相关信息。其中，覆盖50%与75%迁飞活动的飞行高度包络线指标包括包络线起始平均高度（*mean_start_height_m*）、包络线平均宽度（*mean_envelope_width_m*）与包络线终止平均高度（*mean_end_height_m*）；迁徙峰值时刻以日落之后的小时数为衡量单位，相关统计指标涵盖平均峰值时刻（*mean_peak_hr_after_sunset*）、峰值时刻中位数（*median_peak_hr_after_sunset*）以及峰值时刻标准差（*sd_peak_hr_after_sunset*）。
