VPRS 9559 Photographs

This series comprises black and white photographs (prints) created by the Victorian Government Printing Office (Law Printer) a division of the Department of the Treasurer (VA 865) from c.1887 to 1978 and the Department of Property and Services (VA 430) from 1978 to c.1989.This series documents social events and the staff of the Victorian Government Printing Office. The major subject of the photographs is of Permanent Staff Association social events, such as the annual picnic. The series also documents individuals who held the position of the Government Printer.
