User Perceptions and Willingness to Use the MYNUTRI App – MYNUTRI Pilot

This dataset was collected as part of the MYNUTRI pilot within the European FOODITY project, which aims to empower citizens to manage their food and health data through ethical, transparent, and personalised digital tools. The dataset contains anonymised responses from adult participants in Spain regarding their perceptions of the MYNUTRI app, a digital tool designed to support informed food choices based on individual health profiles. It includes variables such as: Gender, age range, education level, and occupation Type of city of residence and perceived financial situation Perceived novelty and usefulness of the app Willingness to use the app and pay for it Interest in personalised information and its influence on purchasing and consumption decisions Previous experience with similar apps (e.g. product scanning) Willingness to participate in pilot testing and share health profile data Access to Android devices and ability to read English The data was gathered through structured questionnaires and is intended to support research on digital health tools, consumer engagement, and ethical data governance in the food sector.
