资源简介:
This repository contains the full Google Colab notebook and supporting scripts used to produce all results, figures, and tables in Cross-Survey Evidence for a Polar Radio Dipole (Morton, 2025).
The analysis implements a fully reproducible counts–in–cells dipole measurement of three public radio surveys:
NVSS (1.4 GHz)
TGSS ADR1 (150 MHz)
LoTSS DR2 (144 MHz)
via live VizieR queries. It evaluates the dipole amplitude vs. the kinematic expectation as a function of flux threshold, applies jackknife errors and Poisson nulls, and reports isotropy p-values.
Key features:
Cross-survey validation across independent frequencies and footprints
Flux-sweep tests showing a smooth approach from excess dipole amplitude at faint thresholds toward the kinematic baseline at bright cuts
Mask sweeps and patchwise clustering diagnostics for systematic control
Transparent reproducibility: running the notebook regenerates Figures 1–2 and Tables 1–2 exactly as presented in the paper.
All parameters, cuts, and query settings match those in the manuscript. LoTSS DR2 provides a modern, deeper complement to the NVSS and TGSS results, demonstrating stability of the flux-dependent dipole pattern in contemporary data.
