Dataset 1: Information on 1162 Plasmodium falciparum (Pf) parasites collected in Kilifi, Kenya, between 1994 and 2018

Columns 6 – 11 represent drug resistance-associated mutations, reported as amino acids. For genes carrying multiple SNPs of interest, genotypes are concatenated to form haplotypes. Kelch, BTB/POZ and propeller domains of PfKelch13 gene; P23.BP, breakpoint in plasmepsin 2/plasmepsin 3 genes associated with resistance to piperaquine; WT, wild type (antimalarial drug sensitive) parasite. A dash (“-”) indicates that genotyping failed at that position. Heterozygous alleles are indicated in brackets, e.g. [M/I]. Pf, single P. falciparum infections; Pf/Pm, mixed Pf and P. malariae infections; Pf/Po, mixed Pf and P. ovale infections; Pf/Pv/Pm, mixed Pf, Po and P. vivax infections.
